Wardrobe- Back To The Basics

Now, when I say 'Back To The Basics' by that I mean finding your confidence in clothes. Learning to play up the things you love about yourself and tone down the things that you well, don't. As forbidden as that is to say, I believe you can still love yourself and laugh at those empty change purses your two kids left you with as boobs. #momboobs

Fashion is simply a trend that's forever changing and style is what you choose to make of those trends. I knew at a very young age that what's important about someone is on the inside. It took me awhile longer to realize that it's okay to care about the outside and in doing so, you can drastically improve your self confidence.

Style to me, is food for the soul. It's not about comparing my physical appearance to someone else's. It's about loving myself and knowing what makes me feel unstoppable.

It's part of what helps me make it through this messy motherhood gig and still feel put together. It's amazing what an outfit can do for a girl! I swear retail therapy is totally a thing. I'm just a mom, trying to make it and that starts every morning in my closet.

"Fashions fade, style is eternal." —Yves Saint Laurent

So, I hope you find my wardrobe journey inspiring and if nothing else laugh along with me during one of the most challenging seasons of my life; motherhood. Because like I said before, it's all about getting back to the basics and by that I mean finding your confidence in clothes.
